101 in 1001

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Start Date: December 29, 2008

End Date: September 26, 2011

Blue = completed

Green = in progress

When an item is complete, I will put the completion date and a link to the blog entry that discusses it.

    I love your list! I’ve got a couple of the same goals. I like your idea to watch movies your husband likes and you don’t. I’ll have to do that for some of my 101 movies. I’m adding you to my Fellow 101 links page if that’s alright.

    Good luck!

    Tara

      Thanks for the feedback! The movie one is a hard one for me because we really don’t agree on a lot of films, but it’s always worth trying to meet halfway. :)
