40. Participate in and finish NaBloPoMo.
Yesterday marked the last post of January – I posted every day, sometimes more than once a day. I think this was a great project to take on as I started this blog because it forced me to make time for writing each day and also to stretch and vary the things I write about (well, or at least to me – perhaps someone reading this would not think it has variety; I know I could do better).
I will definitely participate in NaBloPoMo again… just not this month since I’m moving next weekend and will undoubtedly have a brief period (hopefully like one day) without internet and will need to be unpacking and such. Besides, February is the shortest month of the year… I did NaBloPoMo on one of the longest months – woo hoo!
The one thing I would set out to do next time is to limit my posts to the NaBloPoMo theme of the month. This month was “change” which is pretty easy considering I’m newly married, in the middle of moving, and all sorts of change-causing things, not to mention the inauguration. February’s theme is “want”, which is interesting since there are several different ways to take that. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year’s themes are.
